Secret Plant Paradise A Hidden Green Heaven
Once upon a time, there lived a little girl called Minji. She was the princess of Denmark who loved exploring. Minji wanted to explore new places around the world, but her parents who were worried about her safety, did not allow her to go outside much. She wasn't even allowed to make friends with the maids' daughter. Her parents only allowed her to be friends with royal princes and princesses that came to her kingdom on special events like birthday and party celebrations.

Poor Minji! She used to look from her bedroom window young children playing together, all happy, laughing and having fun, dancing with joy.
Feeling bored with her life, one day Minji decided to sneak out of her palace. She dressed herself as Carol, maid Anna's daughter who was mostly dressed in black. Then she took her black bag in which she kept five Doritos chips and two sodas for her small journey. She painted herself in brown to look exactly like Carol, so that the guards would allow her to go outside the castle gates.
Minji was a clever girl. She tricked the guards by imitating Carol's voice and said, '' Guard uncle, will you allow me to fetch some water from the well outside please? Mommy has asked me to bring some water.'' She said while holding a brown bucket.
''Sure dear, but come back soon!'' said guard John.
Immediately, she thanked the guard and went outside planning to never come back. Near the castle, were the woods known as the Whispering-echo woods. These deep woods seemed to be filled with an unknown mystery. Minji was curious to find that unknown mystery and so she went towards the woods. She went deeper and deeper until night came. She was now far away from her castle. The woods were deep enough to make Minji lost in there. She wanted to return back home but, as she came here for the first time in her entire life, she didn't know the way back and so Minji decided to rest under a big shady tree. She sat down, ate one of her Doritos chips and drank her soda. Feeling sleepy, she lay down on the ground and slept immediately.
The next morning, she woke up to find herself in the woods, and remembered all she had planned yesterday. She looked around, and found herself near an old-looking grey well. Feeling thirsty, she went towards the well and fetched the bucket into the well carefully, in case she accidentally dropped herself in. She drank some water and again dropped it inside to fetch more water. But this time when she pulled, the bucket didn't feel heavy at all. As it hadn't reached the water, Minji peeked inside but suddenly she stumbled upon a small grey stone which made her drop into the well.
'' Uh…uh…uh…noooo…someone save me!'' yelled Minji as she went down. Down and down she went until suddenly she entered in a completely new world. This was the most beautiful garden Minji had ever seen! Not even a garden, the place was like heaven! The wind seemed like a beautiful tune passing by, there were fairies instead of leaves flying around, and the trees were filled with colourful jewels. Instead of fruits, there were donuts with frost topping on it which looked marvellous... The sky was bright pink, and a huge gold disco ball gave light and strength to the plants and humans. The disco ball on the sky was in the middle of blue clouds which made the sky look very beautiful. The plants were made from green glitter, and seemed like tiny humans as they had eyes, nose and a mouth from which they spoke.
'' Am I…in heaven?'' Minji questioned herself as she looked around. She looked up and saw the well disappearing from where she had entered into this magical place.
''Welcome to our secret plant paradise, Minji dear!'' said the flowers sweetly while welcoming there guest Minji.
''You…you guys can actually talk? Ha… how do you know my…my name? Minji said shockingly as the plants that she never met before, knew her name.
''Don't get scared, dear!'' said the old sunflower smiling.
''Think of us as your own friends Minji sister!'' said the baby plants cutely stammering.
The flowers told Minji that this secret paradise was hidden from the human world, and that the well was the only key to this place. Minji loved that everyone in the paradise was loving and caring, and decided to stay in there. She asked if she could stay here forever.
''If you want to stay in this place forever, you must prove that you can stay here!'' said one of the fairies passing by.
To prove she was a good girl, Minji watered the plants daily, brushed the jewels every day, took care of the little saplings and respected everyone in there. And so, the trees and plants agreed to let her stay in the paradise.
''You are a wise girl, Minji. You have proved to be respectful, nice and well-behaved. From now on, you can stay here as much as you like.'' Said the flowers to Minji.
From that day on, Minji started to have a wonderful life. She ate donuts every day, drank special lemonades made by fairies and slept in the most comfortable plant bed. Yet, she continued serving the plants. Her dress was made from the best jewels and she always wore a crown made from sticks on her head. The blanket she slept on was made from jasmine silk, which gave a beautiful scent.
Days passed and passed. Weeks turned into months and months into years. Almost a year had passed since Minji started to live in the secret plant paradise. She was having her best life.
One bright, sunny day Minji was playing with the baby tulips and roses when she remembered something. When she looked at the baby plants, going happily to their parents, she suddenly remembered something. Her family! Her father, mother and all the castle people! Tears started rolling out of her eyes as she thought how sad her family must be, thinking about her. The wise money plant came to her and said, ''What happened miny miny?'' (this was a nickname given by the plants to her)
'' I…I remember my family…mum…dad…I miss them!'' cried Minji. She told the wise old money plant how she had sneaked out of her castle that day and after finding the well, dropped into it and accidently entered the secret paradise.
''I know a way you can go home. I must tell the fairies to bring back the well and take you back to your castle safely!'' the money plant said.
''Really? Thank you so much, sir!'' said Minji happily.
Everyone then gathered around Minji. She told everyone that she must return back to her home now, so that she could meet her family.
''No, miny miny please don't leave us!'' wailed the baby plants all together. '' We will miss you so much! Don't go please…'' cried the baby lavender.
She hugged all her friends and said goodbye to them. It was a sad moment for all of them.
''Minji dear, we really had a good time with you and we will really be missing you!'' said the aloe Vera plant.
''But now that you are leaving, you must take a request from us all. said the spider plant.
''You must tell everyone to plant more and more trees, and stop cutting these trees. And tell everyone, to stop polluting areas and water plants every day.'' said the old sunflower.
''Spread this important message to the whole world, and apply it yourself first so that others can follow too. The human world will look more beautiful and green like the plant paradise.'' Advised the red rose.
"Promise, miny miny? "asked all the plants.
Promise guys" said Minji now in a happy as well as a sad mode. She took some beautiful jewels from the trees as a present for her parents, said good bye to her friends and went with the fairies back to her castle.
"bye bye miny Miny" said one of the fairies. "wait… miny miny…miny miny…"
Phew! it was just a very long dream!
Miny Miny, you were sleeping for twelve long hours sleeping beauty! Are you ok dear? asked Minji's mother.
"Wait, it was all a dream? I thought I was in the secret plant paradise!" said Minji shockingly as she thought she really was in the plant paradise after having a twelve-hour sleep.
"You must be feeling hungry. Come for lunch, meal's almost ready, dear". Said the queen smiling.
"But I ate the cake and drank the lemonade! I am full now, mother", said Minji.
"What are you talking about dear? after playing with your friends, you said that you felt tired and went to sleep, and you haven't eaten since yesterday morning dear. Come to lunch, now your father is waiting downstairs. Wash your face and come quickly! "said the queen.
Today's meal was roasted chicken with rice and curry as well as a carrot pie. During lunch time, Minji remembered her dream. The words of the plant reminded her of the request given by them. She said, "Father, I want to travel around the world with Harry, Marinda, Jake, John and Alice to spread the message of planting more and more trees, to stop polluting cities and to stop cutting down the forests.
May I Please do that Father?" Minji said that with puppy eyes.
"That's a good message, Miny. Why not? I must get this message to be on the breaking news so that everyone follow these rules!" said king Duncan all in one breathe excitedly.
With king Duncan's help and support, Minji and her friends went from village to village, city to city and from country to country apprising people with their message. Soon everyone started to plant more and more trees. They still cut trees but, planted twice more than they cut them. This message spread over the world and more people began to listen to Minji and her friends. The earth began to look beautiful, clean and much green. Soon there were so many flowers, that everywhere people went, a beautiful scent came to them. Minji and her friend also planted as much tree as they could. They also told people stop polluting cities, so that every place is clean and green. They even visited schools and organized tree planting drives and gave presentations to local communities. Their efforts started to show colours and people began listening to them.
People were now grateful to Minji and they promised to protect the forest and its beautiful resources.
This story teaches us the importance of environmental protection. We must take part in protecting our planet and its resources for future generations. Our least actions can sometimes make a big difference. Let us all be inspired by Minji and her friends, to take action and create a cleaner, greener and healthier world for everyone.
